75% seem to think R&B musicians wear dark, neutral coloured slacks which is technically smart clothing whereas the 25 percent who thought r and b musician wore skimpy clothing which is revealing outfits. Giving me an idea to what people are looking forward to and what I should wear.
Survey
A wide range of people seem to know the basis as they know when R&B was invented, which tells me this might be one of their favourite genre of music. making sure I try reach to their expectations since they know quite allow I would not like to disappoint.
this seems to be a 50/50 tie as half of the participants know the changes of R&B from the 90s until now the 21 century as they know how R&B has had a major change in the exploration of sound as now it includes more Djing and Rapping as it is now relevant in the music. From this feedback I will try reach more to the newer version of R&B as it seems that is what people are more used to.
The wide range seems to get it wrong as they weren't able to get the top selling artist right. For someone to be able to be top selling artist that is quite a big deal as now I will do as much research on them and try to learn as much as I can picking up ideas so I can reach the top.
Its seems like R&B has a lot of fanbase as a 100% seems to like R&B and have listened to it. Allowing me to not be nervous knowing my fanbase are a big fan all I just have to do is not disappoint as reach to their expectations.
Seems like people have different preference when it comes to R&B music as there is a range of different artist in the R&B society allowing them to have a wide range to pick from. From this feedback since everyone thinks different i will try do as much research as possible on many different artist seeing why they have a fanbase and why they are loved taking some points out of their community and adding it to mine as I make my fanbase bigger and understandable.
I asked a range of people to pick who they think rule the R&b and majority of people seem to think Jacques. Since people think Jacques is the king of R&B I will do research on him to see how he got that title and learn from him.
Lastly I done research on R&B groups and how they manage to become successful as they are a group which should be harder as you need to have chemistry to make it work and be in sync. Allowing me to learn new skills.

Conventions
-Artist from this genre usually dress in revealing clothing, as the women physique is usually tried to be captured while the men are usually in good shape as they usually show their chest, however when it came to clothing style they always tried to focus on the 90s style.
-The artist is always usually portrayed as emotional and in search of love.
-The target audience is of this genre are mostly teens and young adults usually between ages of 14 to 25 and generally female. Also this age is range of this genre is because the music video is usually contained of explicit lyrics and a little too much extra skin
-For the colour scheme of this genre personally i say it is between red black and white and this is because the black focuses on the sorrow and heartbreak in which the lyrics of the music genre can be about while however red could connote to the love part of the music as when looking at red it can connote love and roses while lastly white can connote purity and good vibes.
Poster ideas
Looking at the colour scheme I have decided to use for my poster, as you can see I have kept it consistent as I try to capture the 3 main parts of what the fan base come to experience through these colours as the black colours could represent the heart break and sorrow in which the artist is trying to give out through her music because looking at this music genre target audience and how mostly only teens and young adults listen to this genre of music at that age they are the ones who mostly experiences heart break given why mostly females listen to this. however for the red colour scheme that could represent love and roses and given the colour red though it could connote to so many more things but in this genre love and roses best fit. lastly the colour white could connote the artist purity of how they have been used and explioted.
Different font types
For my font style I will be picking the most boldest and thickest font out of the 6 as the bold and curved edges is able to attract female audiences as they could find it quite fun looking and we are mostly focusing on female target audience as a wide range likes this genre.
